The Release Manager must monitor the Release And Deployment Management Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as committed
in the contract.
Few examples of key performance indicators for Release And Deployment Management include:

Reduced number of incidents due to incorrect release components being deployed

Reduced cost to diagnose and fix incidents and problems in deployment and live environment

Increased number/percentage of releases meeting customer expectations (cost, time or quality)

Reduced number / percentage of missing configuration items

Reduced number of configuration audit findings

Increased customer satisfaction on the implemented releases

Reduced count of defects leaked into production environment

Increase number / percentage of releases that make use of the supporting documentation, etc.
The Release Manager must review and analyse the KPIs. The Release Manager must monitor and report these KPIs at a
defined frequency. The Release And Deployment Management Report must be prepared and communicated to the Engagement
Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
